Well, I have been siting in my cage at this old M&D Bird Farm Camp since Friday morning! Les and Mary Ann told me they would pick me up on Sunday afternoon, but as usual, they are a day late! Must have had a blast in Williamsburg with those Grandkids and their parents. Actually, they called on their cell phone and we chatted a bit. They had a wonderful time with the little ones! They went to Jamestown, settled in 1607, and saw the foundations of some original settlement buildings. I would have had fun because it was right on the James River, and I know I would have found some flying friends to pal around with. They had lunch at Paneras, and then shopped around the town a bit. then, Mary Ann, Tripp, Ginny, Tucker, Lizzie and Ella played in the Hotel pool for awhile. They then got their jammies on and had "take out" delivered to their room. They celebrated Mary Ann's ??? Birthday with some really special presents, and a yummy chocolate cake. Ella gave her a precious picture of herself, and Tripp's family gave her a wonderful Gift Card for her sewing fun. Lizzie, Ella, Tucker and Peyton presented "Mimi/Granny" soooooo beautiful Birthstone charms with their "Birthstone' for each child! Mary Ann was very, very touched! Mary Ann told me that this was the "most specialist" Birthday ever, celebrated with her Grandchildren, and their moms & dads!!! Anyway, I had an okay time at camp. I was next to an old cockatoo who had pulled his feathers out-yuck! Then I heard some really not nice words from an old Grey there also. Next time my parents want to put me here, they better check out the company I will be keeping. I can pick up some bad habits really. But, I guess I can't complain, because I do get to go on a lot of trips with them. Just last week I went to Sugarcreeek Ohio for the Swiss Festival! Boy, was that a bunch of fun!!! I had to sit on the bed in the campter for days and days! I better get some shut eye because I need to be well rested when they pick me up. "Well, rattle my cage, will ya!" Bye for now, Polly I-lean Parks

Polly's Thoughts from Sugarcreek, OH
I am very upset at being left alone by my parents as they tour the Sugarcreek area. They come back and tell me about seeing:
- Swiss cheese making
- Amish casket making
- Wine making
- Visiting Amish school and home
- Quilt shops
- Warther Carving Museum
- Auman Museum of Radio and TV
- Swiss Village Bulk foods
- World champion Quarter horses
Why would I want to see that. I want to see a zoo.
